Request Access to HCP1200 AWS S3

Good afternoon,

 

I am trying to request access to the HCP 1200 AWS S3 bucket. However, the instruction page (https://wiki.humanconnectome.org/display/PublicData/Connecting+to+Connectome+Data+via+AWS) is currently not visible. Could you please provide instructions or information on how to get access to the HCP1200 dataset through AWS?

Go to balsa.wustl.edu, log in (if you need to create an account, you will also need to click on and accept the data use terms in the next step), click the "ConnectomeDB" tab on the home page, and then click "HCP-Young Adult 2025".  One of the tabs near the top of the page says "Get/Reset AWS S3 Access".  Click it and it should give you the needed ID and secret - make sure you copy both of them before closing the box, as clicking the button again will revoke the previous pair and generate new ones.

Note, the AWS data is the older S1200 release, and does not have the updated 2025 release of the preprocessed data at this time.
