Hello,
I'm using the Freesurfer pipeline through QuNex and someone told me to ask you about that. hcp_freesurfer is failing for 1/72 session.

My error comlog is saying: ERROR: talairach_afd: Talairach Transform: transforms/talairach.xfm FAILED (p=0.0066, pval=0.0000 < threshold=0.0050).

I found the same error in a forum (Fmriprep 1.1.1 anat-only: troubleshooting talairach_afd error - #13 by ChrisGorgolewski - fmriprep - Neurostars) and they resolved it by doing a rigid registration before freesurfer. I tried to manually change the default dof (12) in acpc_alignement in hcp_pre_freesurfer and then run again hcp_freesurfer but I obtained the same error comlog.

Thanks!

Did the usual rigid PreFreeSurfer registration look bad?

Matt.

Does it line up well with the MNI template (for the ${Subject}/MNINonLInear data) within reason for a rigid alignment (for the ${Subject}/T1w data)?

Matt.
