Hi,

My name is Uri, I'm a PhD student from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I'd like to download the ICA-cleaned dtseries of the FACENAME task, together with some additional information (task logs, maybe precomputed contrasts). That should be, in volume, about 10% of the 2TB "Task fMRI Preprocessed Recommended" package, which for my shaky net here, would make a huge difference.

Same for structural (infact, FS stat files should suffice).

In previous versions I worked with boto3 Python package and built an S3 crawler, but this is not relevant anymore.

Is there any way I can do that with the new settings?

Thank you so much,
Uri

Hi Uri,
The data are only available in the large packages via Aspera right now. We do have plans to implement a REST interface for downloading individual files and an alternative to Aspera for larger transfers. These are not yet in place, but we are hoping to have them later this spring.

Have you tried downloading tfMRI data for only one or a subset of subjects?

In the BALSA UI, you can filter for a subset of subjects using the Save Custom Subject Group button that will apply to both the non-imaging and imaging data packages that you can queue for download. Applying a filter would decrease the size of the downloads and perhaps give you an option for managing/transferring smaller chunks of the data to the desired destination.

Best,
Jenn
