Dear operator,

My name is Bhaumik Malaviya and I am currently a student at IIT Gandhinagar, India.

I am performing research on EEG Decoding models and the HCP data, specifically, the

S1200 Extensively Processed fMRI Data.

I have accepted all the terms and conditions on BALSA but I can't seem to find any download link, nor any API/Amazon S3 and nor any Aspera based download pipeline. Moreover, I can't find the dataset listed anywhere on BALSA.

I'd be eternally grateful if you could tell me the exact steps to retrieve the dataset as this data is very critical to my research.

Hi Bhaumik,

What part of the extensively processed data do you need? Much of the group average dataset is available as a reference dataset in BALSA: https://balsa.wustl.edu/reference/pkXDZ

We aren't distributing the Group Average functional connectivity and PTN datasets (including the group-ICA maps) from July 2017 on BALSA because the processing used for those analyses is out of date. We plan to produce modern replacements but haven't had the chance yet with our other projects going.

These 2017 data are still available in HCP AWS S3, but AWS key generation was retired with ConnectomeDB last September. We are currently working on implementing AWS key generation into BALSA and we are hoping to have that complete in the next several weeks.
