Hello,
I have been trying to figure out how to obtain/apply for access to the genetic information regarding the HCP-YA and HCP-Aging datasets. I have received access to both datasets through NIH-NDA however, I haven't been able to find/request access for the genetic data. I am specifically interested in genotyping (APOE-e4).
Any help or guidance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Best,
Daniel Callow

Hi Daniel,
TheAPOE-e4 genotyping data for HCP-Aging is not yet released (we actually haven't received
the data from the geneticists yet, let alone map it to NDA), so it will probably be several months before we can get that data out.
The Human Connectome Project (HCP) has acquired vast amounts of data about the pattern of long-distance connections (wiring) in the brains of large numbers of healthy participants aged 22-35 using cutting-edge MRI and MEG neuroimaging,
and extensive behavioral testing.
