Hello,

I found from a previous discussion that the diffusion timing parameters for the HCP-Lifespan protocols are δ (gradient duration) = 13.7 ms and Δ (diffusion time) = 43.38 ms.

I was wondering if anyone could please confirm the corresponding diffusion gradient timing parameters for the HCP Young Adult (3 T) diffusion MRI protocol.
I have checked the imaging protocol page, but could not find small delta and big delta values explicitly.

If possible, could someone provide these parameters or check them from the diffusion tab on the scanner used for the HCP Young Adult acquisition?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Hansoi,

The specific parameters used for the HCP Young Adults scans are detailed in Sotiropoulos et al Neuroimage 2013 (see section “Overview of the Final dMRI Protocol”).

Best,

Jenn

Dear Jenn,

Thank you so much for your quick reply.
I just check the section and confirmed that the HCP-YA 3T protocol used δ (gradient duration) = 10.6 ms and Δ (diffusion time) = 43.1 ms!
