Hi all,

I’m interested in the 17 participants who were scanned using both the full HCP-YA protocol on the customized Connectom scanner and the HCP-A protocol on a Siemens Prisma, as described in the HCP Development and Aging paper.

Does anyone know whether these data have been publicly released and, if so, where they can be downloaded?

I’m particularly interested in using these matched scans to evaluate harmonization of diffusion MRI measures between HCP-YA and HCP-A.

Thank you!

Hi Hansol,
Due to all the number of projects we've had going and limited staff resources we have not been able to process and prepare the Protocol Comparison data we collected for release. We do still intend to release these data, but we don't have a timeline for doing so.

Best,
Jenn

Hi Hansol and Jenn,

I'm looking at the same issue. One option I'm considering is using the HCP-Early Psychosis healthy controls as a bridge as they, as far as I can tell, were acquired on Prismas with the same diffusion protocol as HCP-A?

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts or potential alternative solutions.

Best,
Micha

Hi Micha,
The HCP-EP project did recruit subjects of similar ages (16-35) to HCP-YA (22-35) and did use the Lifespan Prisma Protocol, compare with Appendix 1: HCP-EP imaging protocols. There may be some site effects since HCP-EP was collected at MGH with a different team.
