Is anyone aware of any template scripting from any software platform of how the Go/No-go Task is modeled successfully? We are having trouble figuring out how to model it properly, we have tried using Blocks with timing files and the GAM function, as well as looking into the tent functioning. We would greatly appreciate if anyone has a script.

Thank you,

Holly Fleischmann

Hi Leah,
Does your group or a colleague lab have CARIT/Go/No-go modelling scripts that could be shared?

Best,
Jenn

Hi Jenn and Holly,
Yes! We preregistered a few different iterations of the Go NoGo task modeling (targeting different contrasts of interest) in preregistrations — which can be found here:

In terms of GLM analysis scripts themselves, I am cc’ing John Flournoy who can share what we have.

The simplest form of first level GLM modeling is as an event related analysis in which Go trials and NoGo trials are modeled as separate events of 600ms duration. Depending on your interests, you can further subdivide the trials based on (a) the participant’s trial-by-trial accuracy (correct/incorrect Gos, correct/incorrect NoGos); (b) prepotency (number of Gos in sequence prior to no-go) and/or (c) reward history (previous reward NoGo shape; previous loss NoGo shape).

Hope this offers some initial clarity; John can follow up to provide template code for our ongoing analyses.
Best,
Leah

Hi Leah, thank you for the information on your pre-registrations and ongoing analyses. That link didn’t work for me, could you provide the pre-registration number so I could manually search for it?

John, I think the scripts/template coding would be very helpful as I think we have tried every avenue we can think of and are coming up short. If you wouldn’t mind sending those and letting us know if you’ve been successful in your analyses that would also be great.

I appreciate all your help, just trying to move my dissertation along!

Thank you,

It looks like OSF changed its UI in some ways that make it less easy to find files. Go down to Files Preview and look through the dropdown there. Here is what I found, in case it's what you're looking for.

These are our scripts for everything (CARIT and Guessing)

You might need this version of the HCP pipeline from WashU as well, with some alterations we made (though to be honest my memory is a bit fuzzy on this). Note this is my fork, set to a specific development branch

I hope this helps!
