Dear support team,

I hope you are doing well. We have used BASLA to download the Aging dataset. We went to the dataset page on the website, and after verifying our information and academic email, the site asked us to use IBM software for downloading the data. We had two options: 1) use the Windows version of IBM, or 2) use the web-based version. We downloaded the web version and now have the IBM Chrome extension. However, when we try to proceed to the next step  (under the Data Use section of the site, the site does not move to the next page, and it keeps us on the current page for hours without any response (I’ve attached a screenshot of this section to this email).

Now, our questions are:

  1. How can we proceed past this step?

  2. Considering that we only plan to use the behavioral dataset (non-imaging data), is there another way to access this dataset without needing IBM?1000096505.jpg

Hi Yalda,
You likely need to verify your account via the BALSA email sent to the email you registered in BALSA. You need to have an institutional email address for an academic, non-profit, or government account (don't use gmail for your primary account email), your full name, and institution name associated with your account for you to be able to agree to the AABC Data Use Terms. If you log in to BALSA in a new browser window you can update your account profile by clicking your user name at the top right.

Best,
Jenn
