Under the direction of the Youth and Families Services Director, this position fosters the healthy development and growth of Hopkinton’s youth and families through clinical work and the creation and/or implementation of related programs and services. This role coordinates supportive and educational Behavioral Health and Wellness Initiatives for the Town of Hopkinton Youth & Family Services (HYFS). This role leads to long-term collaborative work with community institutions, coalitions, organizations, and individuals to improve community behavioral health. This role also includes short-term clinical counseling with children and adolescents, providing caregiver support, and backstopping case management when needed. This individual will work with diverse populations to ensure all residents have equitable access to culturally appropriate services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Equivalent to a Master's degree and one (1) to three (3) years of full-time progressively responsible experience in a combination of individual, group, and family therapy, experience in psychological assessment, experience in community-based public health initiatives; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Multilingual Preferred.
Required Licensing/Certification:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Applicants with licenses pending based upon testing dates are encouraged to apply. U.S. Class D Driver’s License.
