Hopkinton Continues to Explore MWRA Connection

Composting

The Hopkinton Sustainable Green Committee has launched a series of videos about composting - the why’s and how’s. Composting is an easy and effective way to reduce greenhouse gases, greatly reduces the amount of trash the town is incinerating, and replenishes soil health. Please check out Hopkinton residents explaining options for composting at hopgreen.org/zero-waste/composting.

Right now, Hopkinton residents receive a free composting bin and liners when they sign up for Black Earth’s curbside composting service. Details and sign up at blackearthcompost.com/hopkinton.
