Hopkinton Town Hall, and other municipal offices will be closed on Monday May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
The library will be closed for the duration of Memorial Day weekend, May 24th through May 26th.
Curbside trash service will not run on Monday, May 26th. There will be a one day delay for the rest of the week.
Hopkinton Veterans Celebration Committee will host Memorial Day activities that start at Evergreen Cemetery at 9:45 AM which will include Placing of the Wreath ceremony, reading of the Gettysburg Address, additional remarks, a gun salute, followed by TAPS. Similar events will take place at 10:15 AM at the King Flag Pole on Mayhew Street, at 10:30 AM at St. John's Cemetery, and at 10:45 AM at the Soldier's Mound at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Then at 11:15 AM on the Town Common there will be a similar event that will also include music from the HHS Band, additional remarks, and a raising of the flag along with a singing of the National Anthem.
