A reminder that Hopkinton Annual Town Meeting 2024 will commence Monday May 6, 2024 7:00 PM, and may run for consecutive nights if needed. Special Town Meeting will commence Tuesday May 7, 2024 7:00 PM, and once Special Town Meeting ends, Annual Town Meeting will reconvene (if it was not completed Monday night).

Annual Town Meeting 2024 and Special Town Meeting 2024 will be held at the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe. The Middle School Auditorium is accessible.

Hopkinton Annual Town Meeting is an Open Town Meeting form of government which means that all Hopkinton registered voters have a direct voice and may vote on all warrant articles. Warrant articles may create new or update existing bylaws or zoning. Annual Town Meeting also sets the budget for the upcoming fiscal year by determining the town's operating budget, as well as capital purchases and projects. Both operating and capital budgets have an impact on the services the town provides, which impacts property taxes.
