New Public Transit Route Will Serve Hopkinton

On Tuesday, May 27 the Metrowest Regional Transit Authority begins offering a new bus route through Hopkinton. The 495 Connector route will run mostly on Route 85, connecting the South Acton, Southborough, and 495 Forge Park (Franklin) MBTA Commuter Rail stations, with stops in 8 communities. There will be a stop in Hopkinton at the Post Office on Cedar Street. This is an enhancement to our service. The existing east-west route (Route 5), connects Framingham, Ashland and Hopkinton, generally running from the center of Framingham to South Street in Hopkinton with stops along the way, including the Ashland MBTA station.
