Memorial Day
Monday, May 26, is Memorial Day. The program for Hopkinton’s Memorial Day ceremonies is below. The event begins at Evergreen Cemetery on Wood Street at 9:45 a.m., then proceeds to the Mayhew Street cemeteries and flag pole at 10:15 a.m., and finally the Town Common at 11:15 a.m.

New Public Transit Route Will Serve Hopkinton
On Tuesday, May 27 the Metrowest Regional Transit Authority begins offering a new bus route through Hopkinton. The 495 Connector route will run mostly on Route 85, connecting the South Acton, Southborough, and 495 Forge Park (Franklin) MBTA Commuter Rail stations, with stops in 8 communities. There will be a stop in Hopkinton at the Post Office on Cedar Street. This is an enhancement to our service. The existing east-west route (Route 5), connects Framingham, Ashland and Hopkinton, generally running from the center of Framingham to South Street in Hopkinton with stops along the way, including the Ashland MBTA station.

Arts in Bloom Exhibition - Until May 29 - Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe - Gallery hours for public viewing are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - In this collaboration between the Hopkinton Garden Club and the HCA, a curated selection of artwork—chosen to reflect the 2025 theme, “Peace, Love, and Understanding”—will be interpreted through floral arrangements by members of the Garden Club. Several pieces of art will be brought to life with flowers, color, and creativity.
Spring Pop-Up Book Sale - Saturday, May 31, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library.
Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival - Sunday, June 1, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hopkinton High School parking lot.
Hopkinton Farmers Market - Begins on Sunday, June 1, Noon to 4 p.m., every Sunday until October 5 on the Hopkinton Town Common
