Main Street Corridor Project Construction Advisory

What to Expect for the Week of August 3 to August 7

  • Amorello will have its concrete subcontractor on site to pour the sidewalks.
  • Amorello will also have its casting subcontractor onsite to raise castings. 
  • They will be working Monday through Friday.


Upcoming Work for the Week of August 17 

Final paving on the east side of the project from the Fire Station to Ray Street is currently planned for the week of August 17th. Detours or alternating traffic will be used as needed for project work. 


Please be advised that this schedule may change due to weather and existing conditions found while performing the tasks below. This work may impact traffic and require lane and sidewalk closures. Roadwork Notice

Road paving is scheduled on the streets noted below. Dates are subject to change due to weather conditions. Work hours will be approximately 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please expect delays and do not park along the sides of the streets as this will interfere with the scheduled work.


  • Monday 8/3 - Valleywood Rd. & Lyn Path. Top course paving

  • Tuesday 8/4 - Tiffany Trail & Erika Dr. Top course paving

Hazard Mitigation Plan Meeting August 4

The Town is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan and invites residents, business owners, and community members to attend a public meeting to help identify local hazard risks and priorities for reducing future impacts from natural disasters.


The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026
Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Community input is an important part of the planning process and helps guide future mitigation efforts. The updated plan must be approved by FEMA to maintain the Town’s eligibility for hazard mitigation grant funding. Hopkinton Food Pantry at Project Just Because

Free Outdoor Movies on the Common

The final movie for this summer will be on August 6. It begins at dusk, around 8:15 pm. Don’t forget your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite snacks!

Farmers Market

The Farmers Market is on the Town Common every Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


Reminder - Real Estate Taxes Due

Fiscal Year 2027 Q1 and Q2 Real Estate bills are out, and the due dates are August 3 and November 2.
