What is Important to You in the Next Police Chief? Fill out a Survey!

The Town of Hopkinton is seeking community input from Hopkinton residents and business owners as part of the recruitment process for our next Police Chief.

Hopkinton residents and business owners are invited to participate in a brief online survey to share their thoughts on the qualities, leadership traits, and policing priorities they believe are most important in our next Police Chief. Community feedback may also help shape interview topics and candidate evaluation criteria throughout the recruitment process.

The survey is intended to gather constructive community input and will remain open through June 17, 2026 at noon.

We appreciate the community's participation and support as we work together to identify Hopkinton's next Police Chief. Your feedback will help inform the selection process and ensure that community perspectives are reflected throughout this important recruitment.

MMA/Suffolk Certificate in Local Government Leadership & Management - Connor Degan

Congratulations to Connor Degan, Town Clerk, who received a Certificate in Local Government Leadership and Management on June 9 at a graduation ceremony at Suffolk University. The Massachusetts Municipal Association-Suffolk University graduate-level certificate program provides a solid grounding in municipal management, and covers topics such as human resources management, budgeting and financial management, and strategic leadership. The program was held on Fridays from September through May. This is a great academic program, and Connor’s participation demonstrates his commitment to Hopkinton and to public service. Congratulations!
