We are happy to share that our community's primary dedicated research workshop, WAHC, was accepted again as a CCS-affiliated workshop, now located in Copenhagen Denmark on Nov. 26th.

For the latest edition of WAHC in 2023, we especially invite papers that are related to computing hardware for FHE. For example, we would encourage papers that focus on, for example, hardware acceleration of FHE, tuning of FHE schemes for specific hardware environments, software engineering to accommodate hardware easily. We of course also welcome any and all papers relevant to applications of FHE and FHE topics in general.

As part of our encouragement of hardware-related activities in the coming WAHC, we are happy to announce that Prof. Ingrid Verbauwhede from KU Leuven – COSIC will be giving our keynote address this year.

We have set our tentative paper submission and review schedule as follows:
  • Submission Deadline: 7th July
  • Acceptance Notification: 25th August
  • Camera-Ready Version: 8th September
  • Workshop: 26th November
Our workshop website is here: https://homomorphicencryption.org/workshops-wahc23/

We will accept for review both full papers (12 pages) and brief demo papers (6 pages.)  The workshop proceedings will be published as a part of the ACM CCS 2023 proceedings.

Submissions must be single PDF files, in double-column ACM format (the sigconf template from https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template, with a simpler version at https://github.com/acmccs/format), including references and appendices.  Submissions information will be maintained on the workshop website:  https://homomorphicencryption.org/workshops-wahc23/

Registration for the workshop is through the CCS website (https://www.sigsac.org/ccs/CCS2023).

Kindly email if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Ana, Michael and Kurt
