Hello, here's a summary of what's new in Homechart for April, 2026:

Deprecations

• Budget > Payee and associated APIs (/api/v1/budget/payees) have been deprecated and replaced with the new Contacts component and API.

Features

• Contacts Launch
  We’ve moved Budget > Payees, Cook > Restaurants, and Shop > Stores into a new component, Contacts. Contacts let you manage the details of people or places from within Homechart and organizing them within Address Books. Contacts also supports importing VCF files and integration with vCard and CardDAV clients.

Enhancements

• Added Config > app_imageMaxSizePixels to modify the size of images stored within Homechart.
• Added data.warnings to API responses to notify developers of API alerts or deprecations.
• Added schema property to /api response to show current data schema of the Homechart server.
• Added better no image rendering.
• Changed various forms to streamline selecting parent object.
• Updated Go to 1.26.2
• Updated dependencies

Removals

• Removed deprecated healthLogItem.date property
