| | The Continuum of Care (CoC) is a comprehensive, county-wide group of dedicated service providers, public sector employees, and community members working together to leverage national, state, and local resources to end homelessness in our community. This group of dedicated service providers, public sector employees, and community members. Meets on a bimonthly basis to discuss the critical problem of homelessness and work collaboratively to further the coordinated community-based process of identifying needs and building a system of housing and services to help those in need. All CoC meetings are open to the public.

Meet Good Samwich Tuesday, March 10 from 12-2PM Mission Santa Barbara | 2201 Laguna Street
This new venture, part of the Good Samaritan Shelter’s Food for Good initiative, creates paid, hands-on job opportunities for people working toward long-term employment in the service industry while supporting vital homeless services in our community.
Stop by next Tuesday, March 10th between Noon and 2PM for samplings, light bites, and a heartfelt blessing of the new Good Samwich food truck by Father Larry Gosselin. Ribbon Cutting is at 1:00PM.
This food truck project was made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara and is the first of two that will expand job training and sustainable revenue.

| Support the Adopt-A-Home CampaignHelp Furnish New Supportive Housing Studios in Santa Barbara |

| The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara’s Adopt-A-Home Campaign is seeking support and donations to help furnish thirty-one newly renovated studios for chronically homeless or formerly homeless individuals in our community who will soon be moving into supportive housing.
This initiative raises essential funds that furnish studios in the new supportive housing property being renovated and nearing completion. It will help residents move into spaces that feel dignified, comfortable, and truly their own.
Donations will ensure that the new tenants are provided with community room furnishings, basic living necessities, and personal items, making these newly available spaces comfortable, dignified, and welcoming.
