Aloha,
We are the C3-OD2A team. C3-OD2A stands for the Hawaiʻi “Care coordination, Case management, and Capacity building-Overdose Data to Action (C3-OD2A).” The C3-OD2A team is composed of social work graduate students, faculty, and staff from the Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. We provide activities and resources for social workers and other health, and human services providers, and the public to better understand and address opioid and other substance use and overdose issues. This project is funded by the CDC Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Project through the Hawai‘i State Department of Health, Behavioral Health Administration.
We are developing a series of infographics to raise awareness about the risk factors related to the focus areas and to promote state and local prevention and response efforts.
We would like to share our first infographic and its short description with you.
First infographic: Hawaiʻi Overdose ‘Ike
Opioid and other drug use and overdoses have affected thousands of people’s lives on the national and state level. As part of its prevention and response strategies, the C3-OD2A team provides infographics to raise public awareness in addressing opioid misuse, abuse, and overdose. The first infographic offers prevention strategies and informs the risk and protective factors of drug overdoses.
