Aloha,

I apologize for the short notice. We need additional facilitators for an interprofessional education simulation being held this week.

Each semester, we offer BSW and MSW students the opportunity to participate in interprofessional education (IPE) simulations. IPE simulations help students enhance their practice, knowledge, and skills and learn from other professions. All simulation activities are organized by the Hawaii Interprofessional Education Committee, which our Department of Social Work is a part of.

We need social work faculty to serve as facilitators for an upcoming IPE event with the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM.

The event is held on Zoom, and you are paired with a faculty member from Pharmacy. There is a prepared script of questions to ask the students during the debrief.

To register as a facilitator, please reply to this email. I will then send you the additional materials needed to prepare for the activity.
