Aloha Field Instructors and Site Supervisors

We are re-sending this as we are in need of facilitators for the IPE coming up next week Friday:

GIPP - Friday, February 24: 1:30PM to 5:00PM

Please let us know if you are able to help - it's a fun time!

Aloha Field Faculty,

We're excited to announce our Spring 2023 Interprofessional Education (IPE) simulation events and invite you to join us as a Social Work co-facilitator!

IPE simulations help our BSW and MSW students enhance their practice, knowledge, and skills and learn from other professions. With their Field Instructor's approval, students may also count their IPE participation time towards their field hours.

All simulations will be virtual.

Why join us?

As social work co-facilitator, you have the opportunity to support our students in their simulated social worker role and contribute your social work perspective. Each Social Work co-facilitator is paired with a faculty member from the schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Nutrition or Public Health. We will provide the agenda, simulation script written out and a prepared list of questions to ask of the students during the simulation debrief.

Participating takes very little prep time and our students benefit greatly from your real-world experience. In order to fill all co-facilitator slots for these simulations, we need your participation!

How do you register?

To sign up to be a co-facilitator for one of our Spring 2023 IPE simulations - Please reply to this email!

We are in need of facilitators for this session: GIPP - Friday, February 24: 1:30PM to 5:00PM

We will confirm with those registered by sending a meeting invite with the associated facilitation script attached.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Mahalo for your support,

~Wendy, Aimee, Robin
