Aloha fellow Social Workers, and Happy Social Worker Month!
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and sex trafficking is child abuse - even if the perpetrator isn’t a family member.
Ho’ola Na Pua wants to support you in the work you do by helping you to recognize and respond to child sex trafficking in Hawaii. We also want to support your professional growth and advancement, so we will be offering two separate CSEC trainings in April, each approved by NASW Hawaii for 2 credit hours.
Friday, April 2, 12pm-2pm – Child Sexual Exploitation: An Overview for Social Workers
More info and Registration - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/144301536781
Friday, April 16, 12pm-2pm – Child Sexual Exploitation: Trauma Informed Response
