I'm writing to share this resource, especially if you work Kupuna.  It's an opportunity for bilingual Kupuna to engage with college students in different languages.  Our colleague, Mat Goldberg, is the point person, and I'm CC: him here to connect with you if you have any questions.  Please see flyer below.

Are you interested in using your multilingual skills to connect and build intergenerational relationships?  

Join the Hawai'i Language Roadmap Initative's VCHAT, an intergenerational online project that connects multilingual Kupuna (age 60 and over) and high school and university students through their (non-English) language.

Participants in VCHAT will be in small groups (a Kupuna and 1 or 2 students)  and will meet on a schedule that works for the group with the goal of communicating in the target language.
