Thank you for working with me as I figure out how to be an ED. I think we've gotten the HF off to a good start - you established the organization, and with Andrew and Emily you made the difficult transition from a working board to a governance board. With me, we've taken on many new responsibilities and projects, and removed many doubts that the HF will persist and succeed. I think that the new ED will have a good basis on which to build, and I look forward to seeing Haskell thrive with your support.

I'll check this email again after my week of vacation - I really need some time away from the screen. Richard can contact me in other channels if needed for an emergency.

Thank you for everything you have done for HF.  I think you have gotten things moving in the right direction, and I hope that the inertia of that, which you nurtured by ensuring that processes were set up to run smoothly with or without yourself, will carry us through difficult time between EDs.

I want to in particular thank you for working with me to get the organization's necessary business done even when I was not as responsive or reliable as I would like to have been.
