Good evening!  We are so excited to welcome you for the Big Ol Band Concert tomorrow at HCHS!  Just wanted to include some last minute reminders and details.  
  • Students should arrive and be seated and set up before 7 p.m.
  • If you or your student ordered a shirt and they didn't receive it in class, please plan to come early to pick it up.  We did not order any extra shirts after the closing of the deadline.  Shirts can be picked up starting at 6 p.m.
  • Reminder - we are wearing pastel spring shirts in pink, blue, and teal; if you didn't order a shirt, please wear a t-shirt in a similar color.  
  • If you ordered barbecue, it can be picked up starting at 6 p.m. at the band yard.  Plan to eat at your own tailgating space or lawn chairs.
  • Students who need to stay after school will be reported on an email roll at 3:20 p.m. for your verification purposes.
  • Remind family and friends coming to watch that this event is outside and they must bring their own tailgate or lawn chairs as seating is not provided.  A graphic for lawn chair and tailgating has been provided.  Share the provided graphic with them so they know where to park, place chairs and tailgate.
  • Do you know someone who wants to join us to play at the last second?  We welcome that!  Details are below from registration emails including recordings and links to music as needed.

Here is the initial registration info for anyone who wishes to join us at the last minute.  We will find a seat for you!!



Thank you for registering for the HCHS Bands Spring Concert - the BIG 'OL BAND!

We are so excited to present a variety of music this year for ALL ages and abilities!
We will feature pieces from the Creekside Bands' spring concert (5/11) and the HCCMS Bands' spring concert (5/15) as well as some varying levels of high school literature.  
I am listing our current program in order of difficulty.  Please note that we may still be adding one or two more pieces.

There is no rehearsal for this event.  We will go through starting and stopping each piece, tempo changes and challenging moments before we perform them.  

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the back HCHS parking lot on Tuesday, May 2.  If the weather does not cooperate, we will move to the gym.  
Our attire is a spring t-shirt in one of the following colors - teal, light blue or pink.  We have a shirt available for purchase but it is not required.  Shorts or pants are fine.  Please no skirts.
