nice to hear that but i can't still install v15. i am crying when i see this kind of news...

Hey Ulas,

What problem(s) are you experiencing with the 15-stable installer? I
am tracking one issue where bhyve crashes when booting hardenedbsd
15-stable in UEFI GOP graphics mode. I haven't had the time to look
into that issue just yet.

I downloaded both memstick and disc1. Both drop me to the login prompt. I executed bsdinstall. After selecting keyboard it hangs then reboots. 

Trying to install on a 2014 man mini.

Ah, yeah. These two bugs will be high on my priority list after this
coming Saturday's (31 Jan 2026) infrastructure maintenance cycle.

One thing I plan to do is learn how to use bhyve's built-in gdb server
support. I also want to teach vm-bhyve-hbsd to support starting the
bhyve process with gdb server support. One more feature will also be
the ability to execute the bhyve process under ktrace.

Having both of those capabilities will help me determine root cause.

So it'll be a few weeks until I get to it. To make the process
quicker, I would love help, but I understand how debugging these kinds
of problems can seem overwhelming.

My late 2012 Mac Mini Server model installed 16-CURRENT fine using rEFInd. I’m not sure if that matters or not.

can you share how you debug these kind of things so we can do some help or overcome some problems easily.

i also sent you message about how i had a problem with v15 installer for days i was waiting an update but didnt come. i have similar problems with ronald. i also documented in previous emails.
