Hello. I wasn't sure where else to post this and hours of trying to fix it didn't work.

I recently upgraded to HBSD 15. I took the versions of files provided with the upgrade if there were conflicts with the exception of one (something in /etc, can't remember off the top of my head but I don't believe it was anything critical) and only made small modifications after the fact to conform with how I set the system up. For example I added a user to wheel. I didn't edit anything in /etc/pkg to the best of my knowledge.

I tried to then update my packages with pkg update but always get the error message:
"pkg: Impossible to get the value from Last-Modified HTTP header".

I then noticed that it was recommended to bootstrap, since I upgraded to another major version, so I tried that but:
"
Bootstrapping pkg from https://pkg.hardenedbsd.org/HardenedBSD/pkg/FreeBSD:15:amd64, please wait
pkg: Error fetching https://pkg.hardenedbsd.org/HardenedBSD/pkg/FreeBSD:15:amd64/Latest.pkg.txz: Not Found
...
"

After much searching I decided to try updating the package list from the old kernel, 14, and I can connect and download the list just fine, but of course I get the obligatory errors about how it's the wrong version.

So I have no idea what to do. Are the packages not out yet? Is there something I've done wrong? How can I update my packages?

Also, and I'm not sure this matters, but when I start up I get a lot of errors about packages not being found or blocked by the kernel for one reason or another. I figure that is due to the fact I haven't updated packages?

(did this post? if this needs admin approval and my original is still queued for approval you can just ignore this post)

This is a result of two things: one, a bug in pkg that was recently
fixed; and two, that the 15-CURRENT package repo isn't available, yet.

The first package build for 15-CURRENT is going on right now:
https://hbsd-pkg-current-01.hardenedbsd.org/build.html?mastername=current-default&build=2023-09-02_16h51m21s

Use the 14-STABLE builds for now. I'll announce when the 15-CURRENT
package repo has been deployed.

Perhaps a mismatch between your experiments with 14/15? That's what I
would suspect.

I was afraid of that. Was kind of hoping I just did something wrong though...is there any way to roll back? When I try to use hbsd-update's rollback feature I get
"

"
. Using the -d switch only tells me it's updated to the latest version.

I believe this issue has been resolved and can safely be closed.
