Today the RANT Repeater Group reestablished the East Machine.  It is operating on 443.675/448.675 mhz 146.2 hz tone on the 140 foot monopole at the County Utilities Brandon Service Operations Center (BSOC). The BSOC is on Falkenburg pretty close to the County’s EOC. Thanks to our good friend Wes Jones/K4NQ who made it happen.  Initial testing of the coverage seems to indicate coverage comparable to what was had from the old fire station site on Ridgewood.  Everyone enjoy.  We now have the South and East Machines linked together via a 220 mhz Hub repeater. Hopefully we will be able to resurrect the North Machine if we can find a tower crew.

Congrats, and great work! (Per usual, from that crew, of course!)
