Hi Friends,

I was talking with a local ham and we both didn't remember the exact date we were first issued our 2x1 licenses - here's a cool FCC search link:

https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/LicArchive/searchArchive.jsp

It seems like it only goes back to the mid/late 1990's so don't expect to find older calls prior to that.  At least a somewhat useful tool for those of us who never kept their expired licenses :-)

You might want to try seeing if you can find old Callbooks on line, some are posted. I can’t remember the website or where I found one, but, I did find an actual posting of my original Novice call sign (KN3RZB) in a 1962 Callbook. Wasn’t the original date, but close!
