Good evening, all
Today the ARRL began a letter writing campaign where amateur radio
operators can show their support for H.R. 1094 and S. 459., the "Amateur
Radio Emergency Preparedness Act", which finally stop HOA's from
restricting amateur radio antennas.
Based on the information that has been provided, we have a real chance
of getting this legislation passed this year, but we ALL must take
action! Please go to:
https://send-a-letter.org/hoa/
Enter your callsign in the appropriate space and the rest of your
information should come up automatically. When finished, click the big
red button to the right and you're done!
This will send letters to your US Representative and both Senators, and
will show that amateurs not only care, but there are a lot of us.
Also, this is not for ARRL members only. This is for EVERYONE! If you
have friends or know hams who are not league members, please forward
this to them as it is imperative that every amateur radio operator that
can submit the form.
There will be a separate letter to be submitted by clubs which will be
sent to the clubs in the coming days.
Please don't wait and let's all get this done right away. The clock is
ticking!
