Desecheo DXpedition 2026 Update
Date/Time: February 1, 2026 01:10 UTC
WEEKLY MODE SCHEDULE
We are pleased to share the updated Weekly Mode Schedule for the week beginning February 2, 2026 (00:00 UTC).
Based on operating statistics and ongoing feedback from the DX community, we have made several adjustments aimed at maximizing unique QSOs, which remains the primary mission of the Desecheo DXpedition. These adjustments emphasize 10 m and the higher bands, where we continue to see the greatest opportunity to put new stations and new DXCCs in the log.
Current operating highlights (as of this update):
• Total QSOs: 52,300+
• Unique callsigns: 12,500+
• All-Time New Ones (ATNO / New DXCC impact): ~3,000 DXers
• Operating days so far: 19
• Operation continues until: February 12
QSOs by continent:
• North America: 58%
• Europe: 31%
• Asia: 5.8%
• South America: 3.5%
• Oceania: 1.1%
• Africa: 0.5%
These numbers confirm that while North America naturally represents the largest share, Europe, Asia, and other regions continue to receive consistent access, particularly on FT8 and CW. High-band activity—especially 10 m—has proven to be one of the most effective ways to increase uniques and ATNOs worldwide, and that strategy will continue this coming week.
We sincerely appreciate the constructive feedback we’ve received and look forward to another productive and exciting week on the air. With nearly two weeks remaining, there is still plenty of time to get everyone in the log. We look forward to getting all of you in the log.
