follow-ups", Sarath (VU2RS) says,  "the department  has not  issued
licenses for VU calls,  making it impossible for international team
members  to participate.  With  time running out,  they've  had  to
cancel flight tickets, incurring significant losses.  Additionally,
our  agent's  application  for Agatti permit  for foreign hams  was
rejected by Lakshadweep authorities, impacting our plans.
The Indian team  has applied  for the Agatti permit  and  is moving

The last DXpedition to Tokelau was ZK3A in 2019.
Written permission to enter the island is in-hand, and they are now
working with the government of Tokelau on logistics. The government
will coordinate  travel to the island, operating location, sleeping
         and meal arrangements.
The team of experienced DXpedition  and  contest operators  include
         K3EL, K5GS, KE4KY, KN2P, N7JP, N7QT, N9ADG, W1SRD,  WA7CPA, WD5COV,
HA0NAR, IK0FVC, and ZL3CW.  The group will depart  Apia (Samoa)  in
early November,  arriving  in  Tokelau  following  a  30-hour ferry
crossing.  They intend to remain on the island  for 14 days.  Plans
are to be QRV on 160-6 meters SSB, CW,  and digital modes (RTTY and
FT8) from five operating positions.  The callsign will be announced
at a later date.  Bookmark https://tok-dx.com/ for more information

CONTEST HALL OF FAME ---> Established  by CQ Magazine in 1986,  the  Contest
Hall of Fame is currently managed by the  World Wide Radio Operators Founda-
tion (WWROF). The program has maintained a consistent purpose of recognising
individuals who have made  significant contributions  to amateur radio  con-
testing,  both in support of others and  in personal operating achievements.
In addition, candidates are to be known for meaningful/measurable  contribu-
tions to the hobby. Nominations for the CHOF will be accepted until 1 March.
See https://contesthof.com/ for detailed information.

CONWAY REEF ---> The  Rebel DX Group  reports that  Conway Reef will soon be
classified as a restricted-access zone.  The  new regulations  will signifi-
cantly complicate  the process  of obtaining  landing permits.  Although the
Telecommunications Authority of Fiji continues to issue  operating licenses,
physical access  to the reef  will be  strictly limited.  Consequently,  the
Rebel DX Group is accelerating plans  for an activation to take place before
the implementation of these new restrictions.

clips available.

HERITAGE CQ AMATEUR RADIO HALL OF FAME ---> The successor to the original CQ
Amateur Radio Hall of Fame  established in 2001,  it recognises  individuals
who have made significant contributions or achievements within  the field of
amateur radio.  This includes not only personal operating results,  but also
initiatives that have benefitted the amateur radio community at large. Nomi-
nations  will be accepted  from  1 January through 28 February.  Starting in
2025, the inductees were limited to three. Complete information can be found
on https://hamgallery.com/HOF/AmateurRadio/.

HERITAGE CQ DX HALL OF FAME ---> Established  in 1967,  and  now  under  the
stewardship of the International DX Association,  it honours those  amateurs
who have made exemplary contributions to DXing and DXpeditioning,  including
both on-air and off-air activities and accomplishments "above and beyond the
call of duty".  Nominations are open from 1 January 1  through  28 February.
See  https://indexa.org/halloffamemembers.html  for  the details.  Inductees
will be announced at the SWODXA DX Dinner  held in conjunction with the 2026
Dayton Hamvention.
