Hello, I’m Jim Kvochick K8JK, and I am asking for your vote to become your next ARRL Southeastern Division Director.
Background
I’m an ARRL Life Member who’s been active in Amateur Radio since my teens -more than 50 years of continuous learning, service, and innovation.
Amateur Radio has positively shaped my career choices and opened doors to a variety of roles and responsibilities.
Four years ago, I relocated to Florida for work and recently retired after a successful telecommunications career with an international firm.
I’ve worked in person across all 50 states and 30 countries and collaborated remotely with teams in dozens of locations worldwide.
Serving as Section Manager, Volunteer Examiner, Club President, Assistant Emergency Coordinator, CERT Team Leader, and mentor has been an honor for many years. Service leadership is very much in my DNA.
What I Bring
In everything I do, I apply Capability, Accessibility, Resourcefulness, and Enablement (CARE). I will represent each of you, highlighting the strengths of one of the largest geographical divisions and the largest amateur radio population within the ARRL.
Your voices need to be heard at the strategic table.
First Steps
Your vote launches my 100-day plan. I’ll step into the Director role and begin engaging in ways that make me more visible, approachable, and available to you from day one. After all, this is your ARRL.
My plan includes in-person visits and electronic meetings, and of course, email and voice/text messaging. A director cannot serve without being present and consistently engaged, and I will make that a reality.
We will build an even tighter bond with the ARRL Field Services organization to ensure your representation.
Final Thoughts
I look forward to working together to make your ARRL Southeastern Division even stronger.
Many thanks!
Jim Kvochick K8JK
