The 55th Annual Melbourne Hamfest and 2020 ARRL Southern Florida Section Convention is just around the corner, October 9th and 10th. There will be one more email update next week just a few days before the event.

Tables are still available, so if you are thinking about reserving a table at Hamfest, it's NOT too late but you need to act quickly. Tables are only $25 for two days. Reserving now will aid in reducing wait times the day of the event.

We also have the Tailgate area outside which you do not need to sign up for, just come and sell. Tailgate spots are $15.00 for the two days. Tailgating is on a first-come first-served basis and applies Friday - if you have an assigned spot Friday, you should park in the same spot on Saturday. Pre-payment and reservations are not available.
For those that show up Saturday morning for the first time - do not park in a tailgating space before being assigned a spot. Our tailgate team will be available starting 7 am on the auditorium property.
The auditorium management insists you do not show up earlier than 7 am on auditorium property.
We have a Consignment Area in the East Room where you can bring items and the club will sell the items for you , so you don’t need to sit at a table inside or outside. The club has a large area to display your equipment. Please print and fill out the agreement form which can be found here: Consignment Table Form
We are updating the website as we get closer to the date of the event. Information on forums, prizes and testing will be placed there as soon as possible. Tickets are $10.00. Currently advance ticket sales are only available to those making table reservations.
License testing: if you wish to take an amateur exam they are being offered Saturday morning but NOT at the auditorium. You MUST pre-register by emailing vete...@cfl.rr.com for further information.
**Procedural Changes due to Covid-19:
1) Face coverings MUST be worn to obtain entrance to the event.
2) The side doors to the auditorium will only be open during vendor setup and tear-down times. This is necessary to track the headcount inside the building. All other times the front doors must be used.
