Hacksburg has moved!

We are almost finished settling in to the new workshop spaces at 1872 Pratt Drive, Suite 1620 in the CRC. If you haven't had a chance to tour the workshop yet, please stop by a meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 pm or attend one of the many events we have scheduled for this winter.

Upcoming Events:

In spite of the holidays, there are still some exciting events scheduled for this winter! As a reminder, all classes and events now require an RSVP via rs...@hacksburg.org to assist with planning for instructors and materials.
  • Aluminum Can Smelting
    • Happening Today! November 10, 1:00PM-4:00PM
      • Ongoing demonstrations, drop in any time and stay as long as you want! No RSVP required.
    • In preparation for the Casting 101 event on November 17, we will be smelting aluminum cans and other aluminum scrap into ingots. Smelting the cans ahead of time helps to remove the impurities (also called dross) and speeds up the casting process.

    • December 15, 1:00PM-4:00PM
