Hi everyone!

I am a new member at Hacksburg and am seeking recommendations for places in the Blacksburg/Roanoke area to buy wood. I am looking for a small amount of red maple and walnut to build a cutting board. I tried the Lowes in Christianburg but did not have much luck. Ideally I would like a place that is open on weekends since I work the usual business hours during the week.

Hi Pat,

Welcome to Hacksburg! Have you looked at Woodcraft of Roanoke? It's not a lumber yard, but more of a woodworking store, but they may have what you need.
