I work at a lab at VT, and one of our Prusa i3 Mk3 printers is malfunctioning. Specifically it prints with minor errors in dimensional accuracy, gaps between infill and outline, and non-smooth sides (pics attached). Our main concern is the dimensional accuracy and infill/outline gaps.
When we investigated the issue we found that the Y belt was slightly out of range, and tightened it, but this did not solve our issue. At this point, with reduced workforce in the lab, we don't have the time to dedicate to testing whether it's speed/temperature/the presence of evil in the machine/extrusion. We're looking to pay someone knowledgeable with the MK3/s to come in and physically fix the printer for us. Would anyone be interested in helping us?
