I had an outline category "HacDC_Stuff" for pages about the electronic
parts, assemblies, and surplus equipment that fills HacDC shelves. It
was removed with a note:
A category called "HacDC Stuff" would be semantically meaningless
and a bad idea!
I understand that "Stuff" is pretty non-specific, but we need the
category, so what should it be called -
Parts+Boards+Equipment+TechJunk?

How about "Materiel" or "HacDC Materiel"? Or is that word too obscure?

I found it a bit confusing at first too. How about just "HacDC Physical Stuff" or something that indicates it's about physical objects?

How about "HacDC's Bone Pile"? I'm slightly concerned that everything's

Haha, I think "Bone Pile" might be a bit too confusing. But Materiel sounds great.
