For anyone who follows John Horton Conway's Game of Life (if you haven't heard of this take a look; it is fascinating & amazing!) one of its holy grails has been discovered - an oblique spaceship (knightship). Sir Robin moves 2 spaces one way & 1 the other every 6 generations. It's an ugly thing, reminding me of a storm front on weather radar. It Happened One Knight on conwaylife.com
