There is an unconfirmed report of superconductivity at 190K in hydrogen sulfide (egads!) at ultrahigh pressure (arxiv.org/abs/1412.0460). The fact that this hasn't been confirmed is worrisome but this is far from the typical case where a dozen labs can be testing a new superconductor in a few days.
