So I have been trying to get this phone app to work for my GW2109E NVR, and doesn't seem to want to connect using the internal or external IP/DNS. Using my 8101 port that is open, it just fails to connect.
Is the CAMVIEW app just to go through the horrible iview connection? I am trying to get rid of RealViewPro, as it does nothing but crash all the time on my Android phone and it's frankly outdated and needs to be patched for vulnerabilities tied to iview (which I don't use. Ever.).

GWCamView is for the 55 series NVR and the 93, 94 DVRs. It does not work with the 21NVR.
A new Realview version is in the works and is currently being tested at the moment. It should be released in the up coming week.

Hopefully the Realview version coming out will be of the same quality that GWCAM appears to have.
