In addition to the other problems I'm having in the other thread I created, I'm not getting the proper frame rate that was advertised.  According to the website, I should be getting 30 fps on 1920x1080 (2MP) and 2048x1520 (3MP)

As you can see in the screenshots below, I can only get 25 fps at 2MP and 3MP when logging into the camera directly.

If I login to the NVR, it limits them to 25 fps too.

What's weird is that even if I have 25 fps selected on the camera page, the NVR page is still set at 20 fps and will not stay on 25 fps.

In the camera's image setting, please change the video standard to 60Hz.

When it is set to 50Hz, the frame rate is capped at 25FPS.

From the NVR it would sometime misread the frame rate. Please change it from the camera's interface.

Thank you, that fixed it, but I just discovered a limitation to these cameras (and others that I've found on your site).  I kept wondering why I was getting so much noise in the image and I discovered that it's because the bitrate is limited to 8,192Kbps.  It looks like I need 30 fps at 2MP (1920x1080) I need around 10,000Kbps for the best image quality.  Is there anything else I can do to get better image quality at higher frame rates?

Is the bitrate limit a hardware limitation or is it something that can be updated by a firmware change?

So it turns out the 8,000 Kbps bitrate does have adequate bandwidth for a good picture.  I found the noise I was experience was from a combination of high sharpness (default 50% is too high, 25-30% was good), 3D NR, WDR, BLC, and low Key Frame Interval.   I turned 3D NR and BLC off, lowered sharpness, and increased Key Frame Interval up to 100 and I can't believe how good the picture is now.  Attached is a picture of my settings.  I was able to turn WDR back on without any repercussions to image quality and it really helps with shadows during the day.  I can count flower pedals from 15 feet away now running at 20 FPS.  Very impressed.

Whoops, I mean 15% to 30% on the sharpness is good.
