GW5537 NVR Hard Drive Issues

For the last month, the NVR is not recognizing the hard drive therefore not recording any video footage.

I have formatted the drive, which worked for a few days and then goes back to not recognizing the drive.

I tried to format the drive again, and not it will only go to 5% and then stops.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the drive and no success.

Any ideas on what I need to do to have the system recognize the drive? Do I need to buy a new hard drive?

1. restart your device (Assuming you have done this if you were uninstalling and reinstalling your drive
3. Validate the drive works by hooking up to your PC
4. Factory reset your NVR

Looks like it was a bad hard drive........after I replaced it, started working like new.
