Title says it all, when the hard drive fills up it wont rewrite over.  I do not see an option to let it overwrite in the storage settings. I have to format each time.

By default the NVR should overwrite when HDD is full, you don't need to modify the setting for it to overwrite.

Do you see any error messages? Could you check the system info to find the firmware version for us?

How do you know it's not? It stops recording new video?

Once it is full it will show 0% at the bottom of the screen and when I go back to look at newer events, it gives the error that nothing is there.

When you look at the data inquiry screen, does the calendar should show previous days highlighted that recordings exist for on the drive? My system has 20 past days highlighted, this period depends on storage and data rates so times vary. Also in the HDD manager the storage setting should be set to Overwrite=Auto.

Not sure if your issue has been resolved, but if not, try this. I know the interface is different depending on your version, but it should be similar. On mine I go to HDD manager, look at the tabs on the top. Click on Storage Setting. Set "overwrite" to "auto".  I had a firmware upgrade in the past and after the update this got changed to "Manuel". I changed back to auto and all was well. I suppose if for some reason you had activity recorded that you were afraid to lose, you could stop the overwrite until you were able to remove the video.
