Could someone make a video or provide some step by step instructions on how to save a video using GW CMS?  I know how to search and find the video and watch it.  But how to I save it to my computer?

Please help.  Thank you.

OK, so I found that in GW CMS, go to configuration to find where the file is being downloaded to. I already knew how to download it, but didn't know where it was being stored. Also, when downloading, choose AVI.

Next, I needed to download a video player to watch it.  Windows Media Player would only play the audio for some reason.  So I downloaded VLC and it played the video just fine.

However, when downloading the video files, it separates the files. For example, I played 4 cameras for 5 minutes.  One camera had 3 files and the other 3 had 5 files each for that timeframe.  So, when I download the video, it's 18 different files. Not very handy when I want to share the video with some friends.

To fix this, I downloaded VSDC Video Editor.  I set it up to record my screen while I played the video in GW CMS.  This way, I was able to record a video with all 4 camera playing at the same time, exactly what I see when viewing in GW CMS.  Then I shared that video.

So, summary:
1) Download VSDC Video Editor (free)
2) Go into GW CMS
--- search for the video you want to play
--- select the camera views and get it set to play
3) start VSDC and set it up to record the window (you can drag the corners to the size you want)
4) start playing the video in GW CMS
5) start recording with VSDC
6) stop when you are done
7) find the video wherever you have set VSDC to save the files
