We are honored to share the launch of the John Byfield Freedom Fund 💙

So many of you were friends of John’s and were inspired by him. He had a deep love for the guide dog community and made a lasting impact through his support, kindness, and dedication. It was his family’s wish to sponsor a Freedom Guide Dog puppy in his memory, and this fund was created to carry that impact forward in a meaningful way.

 

Our goal is to raise $2,000 to sponsor a future Freedom Guide Dog puppy who will be named JB in his honor. This puppy will one day grow into a guide dog, providing independence, confidence, and companionship to someone who is blind.

 

Any additional funds raised beyond the $2,000 will go directly toward JB’s veterinary care and training, supporting every step of the journey.

 

The John Byfield Freedom Fund will be open for donations throughout the entire month of May, giving our community the opportunity to come together in support of this special tribute.
