Connecting Blind and Low Vision Australians with expert visual assistance through a new digital partnership
We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with our Australian users! Starting November 17, 2025, Be My Eyes is partnering with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to bring you even more expert support for everyday life.
This new digital collaboration means that over 9,000 Be My Eyes users in Australia can now connect directly with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT professionals through the app. Whether you need guidance on managing tasks around the home, using assistive technology, or staying connected with friends and family, help is just a tap away.
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT will be available via the Be My Eyes app Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (AEST).
How to connect:
- Download or open the Be My Eyes app from the App Store and Google Play
- Select Service Directory, navigate to Blindness Organizations and choose the Guide Dogs NSW/ACT support option.
- Connect live with a Guide Dogs NSW/ACT agent for quick assistance.
We’re excited to see our community in Australia take full advantage of this partnership, and we hope this makes everyday life a little easier, safer, and more connected for you.
