Hello, I hope you’re all well.

I’ve just returned from the 2025 “Live Active, Live Healthy, Live Modern” Senior Retreat at the Virginia Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired (“VRCBVI” where I was able to get them to include the website for GDUI in the resource packet which was sent out to all attendees.

It will remain in the resource packet from here forward.

Hopefully we will attract some new members. While I was the only guide dog handler there, there was one gentleman who was interested in the possibility of a dog later on down the road, and one lady who also had several questions.

I’m hopeful of success in growing our membership as they’re about to start sessions in Sept which will run through June of 2026. That’s a lot of people reading that resources packet.
