In case some of you are either prospective guide dog handlers or know someone who is considering the guide dog lifestyle, I thought that you might be interested to know about the below webinar recording from Leader Dogs for the Blind. Though some of the information is specific to them, much of it is generic and applies regardless of which school a guide dog is from. Full disclosure: My guide dog, Lacey, is from Leader Dog, but I am sharing this by choice and was not asked to do so by the school.

Hope it helps!

Regards,

Maria

Dark blue rectangle with Leader Dogs for the Blind logo in white in the center. The Leader Dog logo shows a simple graphic of a Labrador-like dog from the side in harness with paw lifted as though moving to the right. There is a hand visible on the handle of the harness. The dog is within a white circle that has three arrows on the outside, pointing up, left and down. On the right side is the text LEADER DOGS FOR THE BLIND
